Welcome to Lakes Climbing

The Climbing website from the heart of the lakes!

In the Lake district there are many attractions to all climbers from the average middle standard looking for a crag packed with unique trad routes to the hard climbers pushing themselves to the limit, precariously balancing on the most dangerous pinnacles!

The Lake district is one of the few places in the UK that offers the variety of crag grades and rock types, not to mention both sport and trad climbing! All this is combined with the beautiful surroundings and you can really get a sense of historic features integrating with modern day leaving you with an unforgettable experience after having been here!

Having got to the top of one of the Lake Districts many impressive climbs you set up a belay in the cold winds wondering why the hell you are here and how you were persuaded into this! Then you look out opposite and then you remember...

... welcome to the Lake District.

On the wet days in the Lakes you will find a number of climbing walls around the area.
